Welcome to the powerlifting section of T.S.K.V. Spartacus, where we combine technique, strength, and community to help you reach your full potential in the sport of powerlifting.

ABOUT OUR POWERLIFTING SECTION

T.S.K.V. Spartacus' powerlifting section is dedicated to developing strong, technical lifters in a supportive community. We focus on the three main powerlifting movements: squat, bench press, and deadlift.

Our section welcomes lifters of all experience levels, from complete beginners to competitive athletes. We provide structured training programs, technical coaching, and competition opportunities throughout the academic year.

As part of the Royal Dutch Strength Sports and Fitness Federation (KNKF), our members have the opportunity to compete at regional and national powerlifting competitions.

POWERLIFTING COACHING

Our experienced coaches provide personalized training to help you develop proper technique, build strength, and prepare for competitions. Whether you're new to powerlifting or looking to take your lifts to the next level, our coaching team is here to support you.

TECHNIQUE COACHING

Learn proper form for the squat, bench press, and deadlift to maximize your strength gains and minimize injury risk.

PERSONALIZED PROGRAMS

Receive training programs tailored to your goals, experience level, and schedule to ensure consistent progress.

COMPETITION PREP

Get specialized coaching to prepare for powerlifting competitions, including attempt selection and competition strategy.

POWERLIFTING TRAININGS

We offer structured powerlifting training sessions throughout the week, with dedicated times for coached sessions and open training. Our training environment is supportive and motivating, with experienced lifters always willing to help newcomers.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Appropriate gym clothing
  • Flat-soled shoes (for squatting and deadlifting)
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • Optionally: lifting belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, squat shoes

SUBMITTING YOUR STUDENT STATUS TO THE KNKF

As a student powerlifter, you can register with the Royal Dutch Strength Sports and Fitness Federation (KNKF) at a discounted rate. Here's how to submit your student status:

  1. FIND YOUR ENROLLMENT CERTIFICATE

    Locate your current enrollment certificate in OSIRIS (for university students) or StudieLink (for HBO students).

    Osiris: Go to profile > My Details > Documents. Download your 2024/2025 enrollment certificate.

    StudieLink: Make a screenshot of your enrollment under 'Opleidingen'.

  2. SEND YOUR DOCUMENTATION

    Email your enrollment certificate and the location of your education to powerlifting@tskvspartacus.nl

    Our competition secretary will ensure the KNKF receives the document to register your student status.

  3. COMPLETE KNKF REGISTRATION

    4.1 Register with the KNKF through the Banster member portal

    4.2 Select "Competition member" for the billing model

    4.3 Select "Powerlifting" for the sport

    4.4 Complete the mandatory e-learning module at the Doping Authority

    4.5 Inform our competition secretary of your KNKF membership number and date of birth

IMPORTANT NOTES

For competition registrations, it can take up to one day for your membership to synchronize with the systems.

The automatic collection by the KNKF will only take place later. Do not transfer any fees without asking first.
