Dear Spartans,
Tomorrow Saint Nicholas will be arriving in the Netherlands again. This means that we are also closing up on our annual Saint Nicholas drink! This year the drink will take place on Thursday the 1st of December, starting at 19:00. (The location will be revealed at a later time.) When you sign up for this drink, you’ll be asked to write a poem for a fellow Spartan. This poem can be of gentle nature, but by tradition the poem is usually a harsh roast of the Spartan who it’s about. During the drink, everybody will read aloud the poem written for them and drink away their hurt feelings afterwards.
Note: The subscription deadline is the 18th of November! After this date every participant will receive the name of the Spartan for whom they’ll have to write a poem.
