Board of 2024-2025
Chair

Hey everyone, it’s Merel again!
This year I will continue in the TSKV Spartacus Board, but as the chair this time. I am studying a pre-master for Economics right now and working two side jobs. I still collect plushies (31 as of now) and AURORA is still my favourite artist, but you can also find me at hardcore parties. I am really excited for this year and will do my best to make our association even better and stronger.
If you ever want to talk to me in the gym, you can see if I’m in by checking if there is a bag in the shape of a coffin.
Keep lifting
Merel van Buren
Hello everyone!
My name is Jelle Smits and this year I will be vice-chairman within Spartacus.
At the moment I am in the midst of completing my bachelors in psychology. I joined Spartacus about 3 years ago and loved it ever since.
Besides the gym I love to play the drums or write music, go out, do fun stuff with friends and yap with no remorse.
A fun fact about me; I once ate 12 pizzas in 1 evening. I look forward to meet everyone this year and to host all kinds of fun activities, grow the association and have fun!
(also this is your sign to start Olympic weightlifting)

Treasurer

Hey Spartans!
I’m Herman, and I’m excited to take on the role of treasurer for Spartacus. As someone who loves numbers and getting involved, I’m ready to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
In the gym I do powerlifting and compete in the 93 kg class and I’m aiming for a 530 kg total for Odin in December.
If you need anything, have questions about Spartacus or powerlifting, hit me up on WhatsApp!

Hi everyone,
I’m Aras, and I’ll be serving as the secretary for Spartacus this year.
I completed my bachelor’s in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, and now I’m pursuing my master’s in the same field. Alongside my studies, I’m juggling two internships, so you’ll usually find me glued to my computer, coding something.
If you ever see me at the gym, feel free to stop by for a chat about video games or music—just be warned, it might turn into a 4 hour long yapping session with 0 sets being done.
Fun fact: I’ve been drumming for over 10 years.
